Mary Jane Blaine
Mary Jane Blaine of East Muntz Avenue died at 12:48 a.m. Monday at her home with her family by her side.
Born in Pittsburgh, she was the daughter of the late Fredrick F. and Gertrude Leona (Joyce) Turnblacer.
Mrs. Blaine was a homemaker and had been a volunteer at Sunnyview Home. She enjoyed her family, gardening and golfing.
She was a member of St. Paul Roman Catholic Church and served on Ladies Guild of the church. She also was a member of the Butler Country Club.
She was a former member of the Butler Garden Club, various bridge clubs, the America Association of University Women, the Football Mothers' Club, where she served as president, the Junior Women's Club, the Intermediate League and the Business and Professional Women's Club.
Surviving are her husband, Raymond B. Blaine, whom she married Oct. 12, 1945; two sons and their wives, William F. and Carol Blaine of Chicago, and Raymond W. and Felecia Blaine of Fairfax, Va.; two daughters, Mrs. Dennis (Mary Elizabeth) Lemmo of Zelienople and Christine Blaine of Washington, Pa.; and seven grandchildren, Jessica Gottsman, Penny Rimdzius; Tracey, Ray and Leslie Blaine and Michael and Jane Lemmo; and a great-grandchild, Taylor Gottsman.
She also is survived by a brother and his wife, Fredrick and Sallee Turnblacer of Gibsonia; a sister, Mrs. Charles (Nina) Dillon of Butler, and many nieces and nephews.
<B>BLAINE </B>— Friends of Mary Jane Blaine, who died Monday, Feb. 19, 2007, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today at the <B>Thompson-Miller Funeral Home</B>, 124 E. North St. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. Paul Roman Catholic Church, 128 N. McKean St., with the Rev. Harry Bielewicz officiating.
