Ava Fox tallied eight kills, seven digs and two blocks in Karns City’s sweep of Moniteau in high school volleyball action Tuesday night.
Rosalie Carden added seven assists, four aces and three kills in the victory, earned by scores of 25-22, 25-14 and 26-24.
Haley Zedicker contributed four kills and Natalie Hess three kills for the Gremlins.
Davina Pry tallied six aces for Moniteau, Hannah Migliorisi three aces and four kills.
Sophia Fleeger and Abbey Jewart both added two kills in defeat.
Karns City’s Chloe Fritch carded a 36 to place first individually at a KSAC Mega Match at Foxburg Country Club.
She was one stroke better than three golfers with 37, including Moniteau’s Jacob Felsing.
Clarion was first in the team standings with 201 strokes.

Despite a hat trick from Caleb Oskin, Knoch dropped a 4-3 decision to Deer Lakes in double overtime.
