Perhaps all the people who fled Seneca Valley's wagon found refuge on the Knochmobile.There's good reason for it: The Knights are coming off a thrilling 25-20 win over rival Pine-Richland.Running back Tim McNerney is the real deal and he will lead Knoch to a win over Hampton.•

Erie McDowell 34, Butler 13 — The Golden Tornado coughed up 62 points last week and now they face a McDowell team on the road that had scored 99 points in three games before a lopsided loss at the hands of Erie Cathedral Prep.That doesn't bode well for Butler.•

North Allegheny 33, Seneca Valley 13 — Anyone who saw NA rip Upper St. Clair last Thursday knows NA might as well stand for No Accident.But with the Raiders, you never know — sound familiar? They could toss up another goose egg on NA for all we know.NA-h.•

Mars 48, Cornell 7 — Mars was upset last week. Sorry, Cornell. In psychiatric terms, you get to be the victim of misplaced aggression.•

Moniteau 26, Keystone 22 — As long as Tyler Armagost's arm doesn't fall off from overuse, the Warriors should keep winning.•

General McLane 31, Slippery Rock 17 — The Rockets continue to get bitten — well, more like mauled — by the injury bug. The latest star to check out of the lineup is fullback and linebacker Ryan Ferguson.Still, Slippery Rock could make this an interesting one. But General McLane's army is too well fortified.•

Burrell 25, Freeport 11 — Captain Kirk Naedele has no Spock.•

Clarion 25, Union 8 — Free-falling Clarion gets a pick-me-up.•

Grove City 28, Hickory 11 — The Eagles finally get a home game in their cushy, renovated crib. And it's a winner.•

Laurel 25, Summit Academy 20 — The Knights are, gasp, in first place in the section. But a little birdie tells me Laurel will give upstart Summit a tough time.Scoop is 34-11 this season.
