Josephine Sacripant
Josephine Esther Mooney Sacripant, 95, died peacefully Feb. 23 at her daughter's home in Apple Valley, Minn.
Born Jan. 15, 1913, in New Castle, she was a daughter of Anna and Raffaele Mooney.
She is survived by a son, Dr. Warren (Beverly) Sacripant of Evans City; a daughter, Elvi (James) Frisbee of Apple Valley; grandchildren, Yvonne (Stephen) Bland, Jonathan Frisbee and Anne (Ted) Westall; a great-grandson, Geoffrey Bland; a brother, Ralph Mooney; sisters-in-law, Dorothy, Helen and Jean Mooney and Evelyn Sacripant; and many nieces and nephews who were so dear to her.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 52 years, Ralph Sacripant, who died Sept. 10, 1984; brothers, Samuel, William, Paul, Louis and Gerald Mooney; and sisters, Clara Bailey, Jennie Phillips, Laura Woods and Betty Mooney.
<B>SACRIPANT</B> — Visitation, followed by a memorial service for Josephine Esther Mooney Sacripant, who died Saturday, Feb. 23, 2008, will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, April 5, at the <B>Cunningham Funeral Home</B>, 2429 Wilmington Road, New Castle. The Rev. Christopher Barker, retired minister from St. Christopher's Episcopal Church, will officiate.
