Dickey 65th anniversary
A. Bruce and M. Joan Dickey of Slippery Rock celebrated 65 years of marriage with an open house June 23 at North Liberty Presbyterian Church, Grove City.
Dickey married the former Mary Joan Bollinger on June 10, 1954, in Grove City.
They have five children: Daryl (Cheryl) Dickey of New Castle; Sheree (George) Hack of Mercer; Dawn (Joe) Staph of Slippery Rock; Karen (Tom) Finnegan of Mercer; and the late Doug Dickey.
They also have seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Dickey owned and farmed the family farm for more than 80 years and was a welder at PA Engineering for 25 years.
Mrs. Dickey worked on the family farm and for 18 years at Giant Eagle.
The Dickeys are former members of the Worth Grange and former square dancers with Paws & Taws.
The Dickeys are members of North Liberty Presbyterian Church in Grove City.
