Susan and Jack Bowman

Jack and Susan Bowman of Butler celebrated 50 years of marriage with an Aug. 24 luncheon with family and friends at the Springfield Grill and the renewing of their vows at St. Michael the Archangel Roman Catholic Church. They also took an Alaskan cruise.

Bowman married the former Susan Hogenmiller Aug. 23, 1969, St. Mary Our Lady of Guadelupe Roman Catholic Church, Kittanning.

They have two children, Greg Bowman of Erie and Carmen Bowman of Butler. They also have three grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.He is a barber in Point Plaza and member of the Jack Bowman Orchestra.Mrs. Bowman works in the radiology department of Butler Memorial Hospital.The Bowmans are members of St. Michael the Archangel Roman Catholic Church.
