Friday — Angela Townsend, no age given, of 120 Goldwood Ave. is accused of taking $80 from a physician's office where she worked. Police said Townsend allegedly took the money that had been turned over by patients as part of their co-pays, a police report said.Townsend is charged with theft by failure to make required disposition of funds.3:30 p.m. Thursday — Apair of 17-year-old Butler boys, who police did not identify, allegedly stole a mirror off a car parked on West Jefferson Street. The teens are charged in juvenile court with theft and conspiracy.
12:52 a.m. Saturday — Jerry Trauterman, no age given, of Butler was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence on Pittsburgh Road.Butler County DUITask ForceFriday — Six people were cited for underage drinking and one for disorderly conduct during an underage drinking enforcement detail Thursday and Friday at the Saxonburg Fireman's Carnival. Saxonburg police assisted task force officers.
7:15 a.m. Monday — A car driven by Anthony DePaoli, 43, of Grove City and a truck driven by Thomas Wirl, 51, of New Castle collided on Route 19 near Burnside Road in Muddy Creek Township. DePaoli, who was wearing a seat belt, suffered minor injuries.Monday — Construction equipment valued at $4,600 was stolen from a construction site on Woodhawk Lane in Franklin Township. Among the items taken between Friday and Monday was a chop saw, generator, pan vibrator and jumping jack. BMCConcrete Construction and E&EChestnut Developers own the stolen property.7:30 p.m. Saturday — Amini-van driven by Elmer Holmes, 81, of Butler crashed when it ran over a curb at Routes 19 and 488 in Portersville. Holmes, who was wearing a seat belt, suffered minor injuries.
11 p.m. Sunday — David Beabout, 33, of Rimersburg was arrested for allegedly assaulting Tori Beabout, 33, of Rimersburg during a domestic dispute on PumpsStation Road in Madison Township, Clarion County.David Beabout was arraigned on charges of simple assault and terroristic threats, and placed in the Clarion County Jail in lieu of $10,000 bond.
7:45 a.m. Monday — Amini-van driven by Sharon Myers, 45, of Kittanning crashed after hitting a culvert along Route 3017 in North Buffalo Township, Armstrong County.
