Melvin and Garnet Stephenson

Melvin Kenneth and Garnet Trevilla Stephenson of Harrisville will celebrate 60 years of marriage with a family dinner to be planned at their home.

Stephenson married the former Garnet Henricks on Sept. 3, 1959, at St. Mark's Lutheran Church in Butler.

They have two children; Melanie Petridis and Todd Stephenson, both of Slippery Rock.

They also have two grandsons.

Stephenson is a retired draftsman who worked for Moonlight Mushroom in Worthington and retired from Housel and Associates Inc. in Tampa, Fla.He is a longtime Boy Scout member and past member of the Masons and the Lions Club in Butler.Mrs. Stephenson retired as keeper of the house.The Stephensons are members of All Saint's Lutheran Church in Slippery Rock.
