Nulph

David Nulph, 53, of Butler died at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday at Butler Memorial Hospital.

Born Oct. 29, 1954, in Butler, he was the son of the late Wallace "Bing" Nulph and the late LaVere McGrody Nulph.

Mr. Nulph worked in the maintenance department of Slippery Rock University.

He was a graduate of Butler High School and earned his associate's degree in accounting from Butler County Community College. He became an autobody technician from the New Castle School of Trades and had a degree in heating and cooling from Triangle Tech of Pittsburgh.

Mr. Nulph served as a sergeant in the U.S. Army in Germany during peacetime. He was interested in cars, target shooting and historical railroads.

Mr. Nulph is survived by his two sons, Kristopher Nulph and Patrick Nulph, both of Butler; a daughter, Aileen Nulph, of Butler; his loving fiancée, Linda Moser; a sister, Carol McEvoy and her husband, Joe, of Butler; two brothers, Larry Nulph and his wife, Ruth, of Butler and Gary Nulph and his wife, Emily, of Hagerstown, Md.; his stepmother, Mary Nulph; and six nieces and nephews.

Mr. Nulph was preceded in death by his parents.

<B>NULPH</B> — Friends of David Nulph, who died Wednesday, May 28, 2008, will be received from 2 to 3 p.m. Thursday at the <B>Thompson-Miller Funeral Home,</B> 124 E. North St., Butler.A memorial service will be held 3 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home with the Rev. Lisa Grant of Christ Community United Methodist Church officiating. Interment will follow in Rose Hill Cemetery.Contributions may be made to American Cancer Society, Butler Chapter, 3208B Wilmington Road, New Castle, PA 16105.
