Jack and Janet Barger

Jack and Janet Barger of Petrolia celebrated 60 years of marriage with a family dinner at Michael's Restaurant.

Barger married the former Janet McMillin on Oct. 3, 1953, at Mt. Pleasant Lutheran Church in Chicora.

They have three children, Randy (Susie) Barger of Petrolia, Carol E. (Guy) Daubenspeck of Renfrew and Larry Dean Barger, who died in infancy.

They also have three grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Barger is retired. Mrs. Barger is a housewife.The Bargers are members of Fairview United Presbyterian Church.
