These items have been collected from various police departments.
Monday — Police reported that Bobbie Sue Edes, 26, of Butler was charged with forging a woman's check and on three occasions using the same woman's automated teller machine card. The victim last Wednesday had notified police about the crimes. Edes is charged with forgery and three counts of access device fraud.
1:15 a.m. Sunday — Jason Bupp, 19, of Sarver was arrested for driving under the influence on Route 356 near the Get-Go store. He was also cited for failure to display the vehicle's license plate.
10 p.m. Saturday — Michael Edmunds, no age given, of Freeport and Brandy Kaczor, no age given, of Brackenridge, Allegheny County, were charged with possession of a small amount of marijuana and drug paraphernalia following a traffic stop on Route 28 South.
Police said the pair was in a car driven by Edmunds. A second passenger in the vehicle, a 15-year-old Sarver youth who police did not identify, was cited for underage drinking.
9:51 p.m. Monday — A car driven by David Lorenz, 41, of Templeton, Armstrong County, struck an embankment and rolled onto its side at Mushroom Farm and Cornetti roads in Winfield Township. Lorenz was cited for a lane violation.
5:50 p.m. Monday — A car driven by Dennis Crouse, 50, of Butler skidded on snow-covered Grohman Road in Summit Township, traveled through a stop sign at the intersection with Saxonburg Road and collided with a mini-van driven by Evelyn McMarlin, 51, of Saxonburg.
4:50 p.m. Monday — A car driven by Leah Lauster, 18, of Butler slid off snow-covered Saxonburg Road in Jefferson Township and struck a tree.
4:45 p.m. Monday — William Wokutch, 44, of Evans City was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence after his sport utility vehicle crossed the center line on Route 68 in Forward Township and struck the side of a pickup truck driven by William Doughett Jr., 50, of Connoquenessing.
Police said Wokutch drove off after the crash but was later found by Evans City police. In addition to DUI, he faces hit-and-run charges.
1:10 p.m. Monday — A bus driven by Nancy Huntington, 49, of Slippery Rock and carrying four adult passengers collided with a vehicle driven by Eric Fleeger, 38, of West Sunbury at Branchton and Harmony roads in Slippery Rock Township. No injuries were reported. Huntington was cited for failing to yield the right of way.
1:25 a.m. Monday — A car driven by Benjamin Coulter, 25, of Erie traveled off Interstate 79 in Jackson Township and crashed on a grass median. The crash occurred when Coulter apparently fell asleep at the wheel.
12:50 a.m. Monday — Jeremy Speicher, 20, of Butler was arrested for suspicion of driving under the the influence on Elliott Road in Center Township.
3:10 p.m. Sunday — A car driven by Cassidy Flaherty, no age given, of Butler struck an embankment and trolled onto its roof on Cashdollar Road about one mile south of Watters Station Road in Forward Township.
1:59 a.m. Sunday — Robin Johnson, 32, of Cabot was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence on Route 38 in Center Township.
Wednesday — About 3,300 pounds of aluminum pistons were stolen between Jan. 22 and Wednesday from Kennedy Diversified on William Flynn Highway, Slippery Rock Township.
Feb. 18 — Stephanie Skiles of Slippery Rock said someone between 11:30 p.m. Feb. 17 and 2 a.m. Feb. 18 stole her purse from the Pine Glen Apartments in Slippery Rock Township.
Sunday — Tina Black of Pittsburgh said someone between 2 and 4:30 p.m. stole her tan, 1995 Jeep Grand Cherokee from the parking lot of Prime Outlets in Springfield Township, Mercer County. The Jeep, valued at $3,500, has Pennsylvania license plate FYC2283. Anyone with information is asked to call the barracks at 724-662-6162.
