'Jackets down Raiders at Oakmont

Freeport’s golf team remained undefeated with Thursday’s 237-263 victory over Riverview at Oakmont Country Club.

Jayden Diehl led all golfers with a 44 for the Yellowjackets (5-0, 4-0).

KSAC Mega Match — Jacob Felsing closed out a solid week for Moniteau’s boys golf team, carding a 38 to place second individually at Cross Creek Resort near Titusville.

Clarion’s Devon Lauer won medalist honors with a 37, leading the Bobcats to first place as a team with 206 strokes. Moniteau was second at 232.

District 10, Region 2 — Kellan Stoughton-Drogowski and Jacob Wolak both fired an 81 to pace Slippery Rock to a fourth-place finish out of six teams at Tam O’Shanter Golf Course in Hermitage.

Grove City was the top team with 320 strokes and featured medalist Ethan Cunningham (76).

Girls Tennis

Seneca Valley’s No. 2 doubles team of Lily Wood and Marlee Jones picked up the Raiders’ lone win in a 4-1 loss to Beaver.
