Joan Cooper

Joan Cooper of Cabot will celebrate her 90th birthday Friday.

Due to the coronavirus pandemic, the birthday party for Mrs. Cooper at Concordia at Cabot has been canceled. However, a card shower is planned; send cards to 134 Marwood Rd., Cabot, PA 16023, Room 2009.

She was born April 24, 1930, in Allegheny County.

The former Joan Reedy married the late Leland Cooper on Sept. 21, 1946 in Butler.

She is the mother of Diana (Richard) Weleski and Howard (Jane) Cooper, both of Cabot, and LuAnn (Chuck) Denson of Phoenix, N.Y. She has six grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.

Mrs. Cooper is a retired homemaker and owner of Cooper’s Beauty Salon in Cabot.

She belongs to Saxonburg Memorial Presbyterian Church.
