Smay 100th birthday
Willa M. “Billie” Smay, a resident of Concordia at Cabot, recently marked her 100th birthday.
Mrs. Smay was born April 11, 1920 in Cabot.
A celebration is being planned at Conley’s Resort in Penn Township when the stay-at-home order for the coronavirus pandemic is lifted.
The former Willa M. Warnick married the late Howard E. Smay on Aug. 14, 1940, in Cumberland, Md.
She is the mother of Howard L. Smay of Milford, Ohio, Gary L. Smay of Butler and Elaine A. Mullineaux of Lancaster. She has seven grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Smay was a press operator at Du-Co Ceramics in Saxonburg before retiring.
She enjoys excursions with family and friends. She belongs to Cabot United Methodist Church, the American Legion Auxiliary and the Sarver Community Choir.
