First Church will have a rummage sale from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Friday and from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday at its Crossfire campus, 1802 N. Main St. Ext.

The sale proceeds will benefit a mission trip to Honduras.

[naviga:h3]Passport fair set for Saturday[/naviga:h3]

FREEPORT — The Freeport postmaster will host a passport fair from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday at the post office, 415 High St.

Customers can apply for a passport book for all international travel or a passport card for land or sea travel to Canada, Mexico, Bermuda and the Caribbean region.

To apply for a passport, travelers will complete Passport Application Form DS-11 (unsigned), provide proof of U.S. citizenship and proof of identity, submit two identical passport photos and pay the passport fees.

For children younger than age 16, both parents or guardians must be present at the fair.

No appointment is necessary for the passport fair.

[naviga:h3]Contestants pitch dairy foods in diet[/naviga:h3]

The Butler County Dairy Princess Pageant will be at 8 p.m. May 27 at Mount Chestnut Presbyterian Church, 727 W. Old Route 422B.

Each contestant will give a skit and speech on the importance of dairy as part of a daily diet.

There will be a reception after the pageant.

The Butler YMCA will have a senior health and wellness day from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. May 31 at the YMCA, 339 N. Washington St.

There will be learning activities and resources for participants. Also, local businesses will share information about their programs and services.

The event is free.

[naviga:h3]Pancake breakfast, basket sale set[/naviga:h3]

“Gardener’s Paradise” and pancake breakfast will be from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday in Centennial Hall, 110 State St., to benefit St. Luke’s Lutheran Church youth mission trips. The meal will be served from 8 a.m. to noon.

Flower baskets will be located in the parking lot between Centennial Hall and the St. Luke’s Lutheran Church, 310 W. Main St., from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.
