John Bain, a resident of Sunnyview Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Butler, celebrated his 100th birthday May 4 through the window of the facility's front porch with his family while observing social distancing required during the coronavirus pandemic. Joining the celebration were at least 20 family members from Butler, Virginia, North Carolina, New Hampshire, Minnesota and on ZOOM.
