Good Samaritan Hospice, a mission of Concordia Lutheran Ministries, will host a Power of the Purse event beginning at 6 p.m. Sept. 23 at The Mansion, 141 Mansion Lane.

Proceeds will benefit Good Samaritan Hospice Youth Bereavement Care, which provides free support for youth who have been affected by the death of a loved one.

Each admission ticket (both in-person and virtual) includes a chance to win one of 10 designer handbags, and for in-person attendees there will be additional drawings for a spotlight Louis Vuitton bag worth over $1,800, wallets, a Michael Kors travel gift set, a “win-it-all” wine table, 100 other high-end purses and more. Light appetizers and non-alcoholic beverages will be provided, and bringing outside snacks and alcoholic drinks is permitted.
