Lottie T. Hays
Lottie T. Hays, 79, of Butler died Friday at Butler Memorial Hospital.
Born Oct. 16, 1927, in Detroit, she was the daughter of John J. and Pauline B. Novakowski Skal.
She was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Butler, and she was a homemaker who enjoyed baking.
Surviving are six sons, Darrel G. Hays of Herman, George E. Hays of West Sunbury, and Raymond L., Robert J., and Ken P. Hays, all of Butler, and Charles W. Hays of Fenelton; three daughters, Mrs. Dennis (Carol A.) Wiles, Mrs. James (Georgia L.)Gall, and Mrs. William (Connie S.) Huffman, all of Butler; 21 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She also is survived by a sister, Elizabeth Elliott of Thornville, Ohio; five brothers, Carl Skal of Mount Vernon, Ohio, Walter Skal of Thornville, Ohio, Paul Skal of Erie, and Edward and Robert Skal, both of Butler.
She was preceded in death by her husband, George W. Hays, who died Sept. 22, 2005; a son; three brothers, and a sister.
<B>Hays</B> — Friends of Lottie T. Hays, who died Friday, Jan. 26, 2007, are asked to attend a memorial service at 1 p.m. Wednesday at the First United Methodist Church, 200 E. North St., with the Rev. David Panther, pastor, officiating.Interment was in the Rose Hill Cemetery, Butler.Arrangements are by the <B>Geibel Funeral Home</B>, 201 E. Cunningham St.
