Virginia Winters of Butler will celebrate her birthday from noon to 1 p.m. on Jan. 17 when friends and family will do a drive-by hello past her home.

The former Virginia Kriley was born Jan. 18, 1931. She married Richard Winters in 1951.

She has eight children: Paul Winters, Tom Winters, Sandy Norris, Ken Winters, Judy Zarnick, Kathy Masartis, Mary Etzel and Bill Winters, all of Butler.

She also has 15 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren, one step-grandchid and two step-great-grandchildren.

She enjoys spending time with her family, gardening, making quilts and talking on the phone.

She is an active member of St. Paul Catholic Women & Christian Mothers, the South Butler Ladies’ Auxiliary and TOPS.
