Katie M. Edmondson, 17, of Marienville died at 11:30 p.m. Thursday at Hamot Hospital in Erie from injuries received in an automobile accident Thursday.

Born Sept. 11, 1988, she was the daughter of the Rev. Boyd and Shirley Datt Edmondson of Marienville.

She was a member of the Mt. Tabor Presbyterian Church in Sigel, Pa. She would have been a senior at East Forest High School in Marienville. She was a member of the high school girls volleyball team, student council, National Honor Society and the drama club.

She had just returned from a two-week mission trip to Hungary and Stovika.

Surviving in addition to her parents are a brother, Matthew at home; her maternal grandparents, Willard "Red" and Eileen Datt of Slippery Rock; and aunts and an uncle, Linda and Glenn Hunter of Grove City, and Loretta Carey of Fredonia, N.Y.

She was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, John and Marie Edmondson.

<B>EDMONDSON —</B> Visitation for Katie M. Edmondson who died Thursday, Aug. 24, 2006, will be from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. on Sunday at the <B>Ronald McDonald Funeral Home</B> in Marienville. A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday at the First Presbyterian Church of Marienville with Rev.
