Alma Evanick, 87, of Butler passed away Sunday at the VNA Inpatient Hospice.

Born Oct. 31, 1923, in Blair-sville, she was the daughter of the late William and Maria Frassenei Chenet.

She was a homemaker, and a member of St. Peter’s Anglican Church.

She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Carole Fulton and her husband, Michael, of Butler and Ms. Donna Evanick Pierce of Virginia; five grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Carl Evanick, who passed away June 26, 1983; two brothers; and two sisters

EVANICK — Friends of Alma Evanick, who died Sunday, June 26, 2011, will be received in

Martin Funeral Home, 429 Center Ave., Butler, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday. Funeral services will be at St. Peter’s Anglican Church at 11 a.m. Friday with the Rev. Andrew DeFusco officiating. Burial will take place in Greenlawn Burial Estates.Information also is available at www.martinfh.net.
