Cynthia and Harold Burns

Harold “Dick” Richard Burns and Cynthia Ann Burns, of Portersville, celebrated 50 years of marriage with a family dinner March 27 in Portersville.

Burns married the former Cynthia Goldbach on March 27, 1971, at St. Paul Roman Catholic Church.

They have three children, Jed (Crystal) Burns of Ellwood City, Dan (Barbra) Burns of Portersville, and Jackie McDonald of Erie.

They also have six grandchildren.

He was a heavy equipment operator and a truck driver.

He also served in the U.S. Army.

She is a caregiver and a member of Portersville Alliance Church and the Portersville Food Pantry.
