Hitchcock 51st anniversary
Bob and Patti Hitchcock of Butler celebrated 51 years of marriage with a family dinner. The Hitchcocks’ planned Southern Caribbean cruise to celebrate 50 years of marriage was canceled because of the COVID-19 pandemic.
Hitchcock married the former Patti Parker on April 18, 1970, at St. Paul Roman Catholic Church in Butler.
They have three sons, Bob Hitchcock Jr., Butler, Eric (Sarah) Hitchcock, Cranberry Township and Matthew (Leslie) Hitchcock, Hershey.
They also have four granddaughters.
Hitchcock retired after 40 years from Marmon Keystone and Ruan as a truck driver.
He is a member of the American Legion and the Meridian Vets Club. He is also a graduate of Wyalusing High School. He enjoys woodworking and gardening.
Mrs. Hitchcock is a former employee of Union National Bank as a teller secretary, and of Conquest Customer Service and Butler Intermediate High School as a secretary. She also had her own business with Home Interiors and Signature Home Styles for over 30 years. She is a member of Catholic Daughters of America and Red Hats.
Mrs. Hitchcock’s favorite hobby is scrapbooking and making cards. She also enjoys gardening.
The Hitchcocks’ favorite vacation is cruising, and they have been on many cruises to the Caribbean.
They are members of St. Fidelis Roman Catholic Church in Meridian.
