The Butler Elementary Inline hockey team recently captured the Tier 1 championship in the Pennsylvania Interscholastic Roller Hockey League while capping a 10-0 season.

Ryan Denny scored four goals and added two assists as Butler defeated Hempfield, 11-10, in the championship game. Jordan Krajnakovich added three goals and two assists.

Dustin Davis contributed two goals and two assists, and Jonathan Fair and Conner Scott each recorded a goal and an assist. Winning goalie Zach Schnur made 22 saves.

Butler has won four consecutive PIRHLchampionships and has won 40 straight games.
