Pearl Ann Houtz, 77, of Spiker Road, Cabot, died Sunday at the Sunnyview Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Butler.

Born Aug. 23, 1932, in West Winfield, she was a daughter of the late Harry and Clara Hill Goldinger.

Pearl Ann was a homemaker, mother and grandmother. She enjoyed knitting, crocheting and sewing and had formerly worked as a seamstress. She also enjoyed playing bingo and gardening.

Surviving are four sons and their wives, Harvey H. Houtz Jr. and his wife, Heather, of Worthington, Henry and Tammy Houtz of Herman, William and Merlene Houtz of Cabot, and Donald E. Houtz, also of Cabot; three daughters, Brenda Lee VanTine of Herman, Carol Hays and her husband, Ray, of Chicora, and Patricia K. Cornetti of Prospect; two brothers, Dave Goldinger and his wife, Marge, of Cabot, and Gary Goldinger of Bluffton, S.C.; two sisters, Mrs. Albert Fabian of Houston, Pa., and Dora Keith of Ford City; 20 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by two brothers.

<B>HOUTZ</B> — Friends of Pearl Ann Houtz, who died Sunday, Jan. 17, 2010, will be received from 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at the <B>Geibel Funeral Home</B>, 201 E. Cunningham St. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home with Pastor Jonathan Troyer, pastor of the Canton First Wesleyan Methodist Church in Canton, Ohio, officiating. Burial will follow.
