Scott, 25, of Emlenton was charged with simple assault and harassment after he allegedly grabbed a 24-year-old Emlenton woman by the neck and threw her down.The incident happened in a home along Oneida Valley Road, Allegheny Township.Scott was placed in Butler County Prison on $10,000 bail.11:57 a.m. Thursday — Jesse Earl Redmond, 77, of Harrisville was charged with failure to comply with sexual offender registration requirements after he did not register a vehicle he operated.Redmond, who has been a registered as a sexually violent predator under the Megan's Law since March 2009, was arraigned and placed in Butler County Prison on $20,000 bail.2:05 p.m. Tuesday — Two people were injured after a 17-year-old Freeport girl failed to stop at a stop sign.The teen drove through the intersection of Sarver Road at Leasureville Road, striking a car driven by Deborah E. Gregori, 64, of Sarver.Both the teen and Gregori sustained moderate injuries and were transported to Allegheny Valley Hospital.The teen was cited for failing to stop at a stop sign.Gregori had two three-year-old children in the car who were not hurt.
