Thursday — The manager of a business on the east side of the city turned in found property consisting of money. The property was found on Nov. 8. Anyone who may have lost the property may contact city police and will need to describe the item or items.Butler Twp. Police5:02 p.m. Thursday — Luke Sibble, 33, of Butler struck a mailbox and a fire hydrant after he lost control of his car along Whitestown Road near Stone Ridge Boulevard.Police say Sibble was driving too fast before the accident.3:41 p.m. Thursday — An accident occurred at the intersection of Cedar Road and Arch Street.Ginger Dowell, 55, of Butler crashed into a car driven by Mischelle Grates, 40, of Worthington after she failed to stop at a stop sign on Arch Street.2:42 a.m. Nov. 1 — Anthony M. Cousins, 22, of Prospect was charged with possession of a small amount of marijuana, disorderly conduct, and criminal mischief after he allegedly broke a large window at the Eat N' Park on New Castle Road.State Police, Butler4:30 p.m. Thursday — Joshua R. Scott, 25, of Emlenton was charged with simple assault and harassment after he allegedly grabbed a 24-year-old Emlenton woman by the neck and threw her down.The incident happened in a home along Oneida Valley Road, Allegheny Township.Scott was placed in Butler County Prison on $10,000 bail.11:57 a.m. Thursday — Jesse Earl Redmond, 77, of Harrisville was charged with failure to comply with sexual offender registration requirements after he did not register a vehicle he operated.Redmond, who has been a registered as a sexually violent predator under the Megan's Law since March 2009, was arraigned and placed in Butler County Prison on $20,000 bail.2:05 p.m. Tuesday — Two people were injured after a 17-year-old Freeport girl failed to stop at a stop sign.The teen drove through the intersection of Sarver Road at Leasureville Road, striking a car driven by Deborah E. Gregori, 64, of Sarver.Both the teen and Gregori sustained moderate injuries and were transported to Allegheny Valley Hospital.The teen was cited for failing to stop at a stop sign.Gregori had two three-year-old children in the car who were not hurt.
