10:29 a.m. Thursday — A vehicle driven by Nicole Pisor, 20, of Butler and one driven by Liman Ballanca, 54, of Gibsonia collided on Hansen Avenue near Pillow Street. Both drivers were wearing seat belts and were not injured.9:46 a.m. Monday — H. Richard Grooms, 57, of Butler was arrested under suspicion of driving under the influence, driving with suspended registration, driving with suspended license, lack of insurance, and restrictions on alcoholic beverages after a traffic stop on West Penn Street.Nov. 14 — Someone stole an EchoStar receiver from the front porch of Edward Brown of Butler after it was delivered by UPSbetween 8 a.m. and 6 p.m.
3:50 p.m. Thursday — Mark William Swain, 24, of Butler was charged with theft, receiving stolen property, possession of drug paraphernalia and driving during suspension after he allegedly stole two extension ladders and scrap metal from a business on Independence Lane and tried to cash it in for scrap at Greco Salvage on Kittanning Street. Swain had a separate warrant out for his arrest, as well. He is in the Butler County Prison in lieu of $10,000 bond.
3:18 p.m. Friday — A vehicle driven by Donald Brewer, 71, struck a deer and rolled off the road on Interstate 79 in Worth Township. Brewer was not injured and was wearing a seat belt. He was issued a warning for driving on roads laned for traffic.
3:55 p.m. Friday — Someone "keyed" a car belonging to Gary Lisica of Stoneboro at the County Market parking lot on Route 58 in Pine Township between 3:30 p.m. and 3:55 p.m. Anyone with information should call police at 724-662-6162.6:40 a.m. Friday — Two unidentified men stole a stainless steel prep table from 395 Old Ash Road in Springfield Township. The suspects drove a blue extended-cab Dodge Dakota pickup truck and fled traveling north. Anyone with information should call police at 724-662-6162.
6 p.m. Thursday — Tonya Marie Albert, 20, of Grove City was cited for disorderly conduct following a disturbance on Quinn Lane in West Franklin Township.6:30 a.m. Wednesday — Someone driving a Honda vehicle left the road and damaged split-rail fences on Glade Run Road in North Buffalo Township between 11:30 p.m. Tuesday and 6:30 a.m. Wednesday. The Honda was red in color and has driver's-side front-end damage. Anyone with information should call state police at 724-543-2011.
3:05 p.m. Tuesday — A vehicle driven by Debbie R. Knight, 46, of Portersville crashed and rolled onto its roof on Route 488 near North Tower Road in Perry Township. Knight suffered moderate injuries and was not wearing a seat belt.State Police, Franklin9:33 p.m. Oct. 22 — A vehicle driven by Christine Mohney of Tionesta crashed on Route 62 in Clintonville. Mohney suffered minor injuries and was wearing a seat belt.
