Laverick, Kamer
Cory Laverick of Parker and Douglas Kamer of Cabot exchanged wedding vows at 4 p.m. July 10 at St. Paul Roman Catholic Church in Butler. The Rev. Harry Bielewicz officiated. A reception was held at the East Butler Fire Hall.
The bride is the daughter of Robert and Joyce Laverick of Parker. Parents of the bridegroom are Bob and Joanne Durand of Saxonburg, and Hubert "Red" Kamer of Scottdale.
The matron of honor was Leah Rapp and the maid of honor was Sara Laverick. The junior bride was Danika Durand. Bridesmaids were Shanna Klingler, Holly Schiberl, Kelly Flemm and Nicole Kamer.
Serving the bridegroom as best man was Todd Durand. The junior bridegroom was Alex Rubrecht. Groomsmen were Bobby Durand, Troy Durand, Bob Laverick, Mark Flemm and Jim Thimons.
The bride graduated from Allegheny-Clarion Valley High School and Butler County Community College. She works for U.S. Investigations Services and is an independent skin care consultant for Jafra.
The bridegroom graduated from Knoch High School and Mercyhurst College. He works for Knoch High School.
Following a honeymoon trip to Cancun, Mexico, the couple is making their home in Cabot.
