SAXONBURG — District Judge Sue Haggerty recently heard these cases:

Evan R. Basehore, 21, of Renfrew waived to court a charge of driving under the influence, underage drinking and a stop sign violation, filed July 9 by state police.

Michael J. Frengel, 33, of Butler waived to court a charge of DUI, filed Aug. 25 by Penn Township police.

Wesley E. Graham, 46, of Saxonburg was held for court on charges of DUI and driving without insurance, filed June 23 by state police.

Scott Hotovec, 42, of Valencia was held for court on charges of DUI, filed Aug. 27 by Middlesex Township police.

Lisa Janoski, 25, of Cabot waived to court a charge of DUI, disregarding traffic lanes, driving too fast for conditions, careless driving, accidents involving damage to unattended vehicle, failure to immediately notify police of an accident, and not wearing a seat belt, filed Sept. 3 by state police.

Allen E. Kuhns, 47, of Freeport waived to court a charge of DUI, disregarding traffic lanes and careless driving, filed Aug. 21 by state police.

Mark A. Matz, 38, of Saxonburg pleaded guilty to a charge of possession of drug paraphernalia, filed Sept. 7 by state police. Matz was ordered to pay $355 in fines and court costs.

Charles P. Smiglewski, 29, of Lyndora waived to court charges of DUI, driving an unregistered vehicle and careless driving, filed Aug. 25 by state police.

Dave B. Winter, 42, of Valencia waived to court charges of simple assault and harassment, filed Oct. 27 by state police.

CHICORA — District Judge Lewis Stoughton recently heard these cases filed by state police:Bryan P. File, 31, of Petrolia waived to court charges of driving under the influence, disregarding traffic lanes, a stop sign violation, driving too fast for conditions, careless driving, accidents involving damage to an unattended vehicle and giving false information to authorities, filed Sept. 24.Hope M. Lambing, 30, of Butler waived to court charges of DUI, disregarding traffic lanes and careless driving, filed July 16.Rebecca McCracken, 24, of Prospect was held for court on a charge of theft by deception, filed May 31.Brenda L. Schmidt, 44, of Ellwood City waived to court charges of DUI, disregarding traffic lanes and careless driving, filed July 25.Alicia Shankle, 50, of Karns City pleaded guilty to a charge of unsworn falsification to authorities, filed July 16. Shankle was ordered to pay $195 in fines and court costs.Kevin Totterdale, 26, of Lock Haven, Clinton County, was held for court on charges of retail theft and theft by deception, filed May 31 by state police.Ashlyn Vlassich, 21, of Butler waived to court charges of DUI, conspiracy to commit burglary and theft, filed Aug. 31.
