Adams Sip & Stroll returns for 2022 iteration
Visitors to the Adams Township Community Park again will have the chance to enjoy a drink while raising funds for the future of the park at an event on Aug. 20.
Running from 5 to 9 p.m., the Adams Township Sip & Stroll invites residents to partake in an “evening of food and drink tastings.” Tickets are $35 in advance and $40 at the cash-only desk at the gate.
Benefits from the event will go through the 501(c)(3) organization Friends of Adams Township Community Park and provide funds towards the new splash pad project planned for the park. Construction is expected to begin in 2023.
Ticket holders will have the opportunity to sample a variety of foods and tastings of wine, beer and spirits; plus purchase to-go bottles, six packs and growlers.
Upon entry, IDs will be checked, and wristbands will be given to each ticket holder. The event is for those 21 and older.
Raffles also will be available at the event. Moe's Southwest Grill is offering free burritos for a year at $10 a ticket. Giant Eagle is offering a $1,000 gift card for groceries at $20 a ticket. Geyer Construction & Development, Inc. is offering a Yeti Tundra filled with various bottles of wine and liquor for $20 a ticket. Visitors are recommended to bring cash if interested in participating.
