10:12 p.m. Wednesday — A car driven by Shawn Fulmer, 16, of Butler was traveling on Alameda Road in Butler Township when it crossed the road and hit a tree, knocking it down before stopping on an embankment. Fulmer was wearing a seat belt and received minor injuries. Township police requested city police handle the crash.

Friday — Police remind residents to lock their vehicles' doors anytime they're unattended. In most thefts from vehicles in the township, the vehicles are parked in their owners' driveways at night. Residents are asked to call 911 immediately if they hear or see something suspicious.7:46 p.m. Thursday — A vehicle driven by Lisa Rebmann of Butler struck the rear of a vehicle driven by Victor Shawl of West Sunbury that was stopped in traffic on New Castle Road. Both drivers were wearing seat belts and were not injured.

5 p.m. Friday — Someone shot a BB gun at a 17-year-old female's vehicle on Route 68 in Chicora before fleeing the scene. No injuries were reported. Anyone with information about the incident should call police at 724-284-8100.4 p.m. Friday — A bicycle was found off Brownsdale Road in Forward Township. The owner should call police at 724-284-8100 to identify and claim the bike.Friday — Someone threw a pumpkin at the windshield of a vehicle owned by Dorothy Berninger of Port Charlotte, Fla., smashing it, while the vehicle was parked at 219 Beechwood Road in Center Township between 9 p.m. Thursday and 6 a.m. Friday.Wednesday — Someone stole a $100 gray Craftsman tool box from William McCormick's Cadillac while it was parked overnight outside his Portersville residence at 1193 Perry Highway. The car's rear window was broken to gain access.Monday — Someone stole an unspecified amount of money from the office at the Salvation Army Thrift Store on Route 8 in Center Township between 3:45 and 4 p.m.Noon Nov. 1 — A Dodge Dakota that was stolen from Jonathan Passauer of Butler while it was parked on Pleasantview Drive on Oct. 24 was found at Heasley's Nursery in Summit Township. Anyone with information about the theft should call police at 724-284-8100.6:09 p.m. Oct. 20 — Kaci McKinnis, 21, of Connoquenessing Township was charged with driving under the influence, careless driving and public drunkenness following a traffic stop at the 7-Eleven store parking lot on Route 8 in Penn Township.

Thursday — Someone kicked in the back door of Cody Tarr's residence on Ridge Road in West Franklin Township and stole 38 CDs, a 32-inch ILO television, two 45-pound dumbbells and Black & Decker tools, including a jigsaw, a C\,-inch cordless drill, a -inch drill, a 7½-inch circular saw and about $5 in change inside a jar, worth a total of $1,123, between 4:50 a.m. and 6:20 p.m.

3:15 p.m. Thursday — A dark Jeep Cherokee driven by an unknown white male with a dark goatee struck the rear of a vehicle driven by Ronda Cotherman of Clarion on Interstate 80 in Richland Township before fleeing.
