11:15 a.m. Friday — Police are investigating a possible burglary of a Willow Run home in Center Township.A 36-year-old woman, who police did not identify, reported finding an open window in her home and two lights on, which she did not remember leaving on when she left earlier that morning. The woman told police she believed someone was in her house.7:30 p.m. Wednesday — Unknown suspects entered a home on Shields Road in Mercer Township and stole three flat screen TVs, a microwave, jewelry and two heaters. The suspects fled the scene undetected. Anyone with information is asked to contact police at 724-284-8100.

12:10 p.m. Friday — A 35-year-old Fenelton man is facing DUI charges after he was found discarding multiple deer carcasses on Long Run Road in Clearfield Township.Police said the man, who they did not identify, parked his Ford pickup truck partially blocking the road. He was found to have an open container of alcohol in the vehicle and field sobriety tests indicated he was intoxicated.The state Game Commission assisted with the investigation to determine the deer were legally tagged.The man was arrested for suspected DUI and consented to a blood test. Charges are pending results of the test.6:10 a.m. Friday — A car driven by Dianna J. MacDonald, 57, of Natrona Heights crashed along the Buffalo Bridge in Buffalo Township.Police said ice caused MacDonald to lose control of her vehicle as she was driving northbound on Route 28.MacDonald suffered minor injuries in the crash. Her car was towed.8:03 a.m. Thursday — A car driven by Debra C. Hill, 62, of Freeport struck a deer in the westbound lane of Route 422 in West Franklin Township, Armstrong County. Police said the deer ran in front of the vehicle.7:44 a.m. Thursday — A 73-year-old woman suffered moderate injuries after she lost control of her car along Route 28 in Buffalo Township.Police said Anastasia Makosewski of Cranberry Township lost control of her car on Buffalo Bridge and crashed into the eastern berm of the bridge twice. Makosewski was taken to Allegheny General Hospital by Freeport EMS for moderate head trauma, police said. Her car was towed from the scene.The accident caused one lane of Route 28 to close for about 45 minutes.Makosewski was cited for driving too fast for conditions.9:35 p.m. Nov. 29 — Three unknown male suspects entered Creekside Mushrooms in West Franklin Township, Armstrong County, and used several golf carts and Ford trucks to drive around the mines.The suspects then removed five cap lights from the facility and fled in an unknown direction. An investigation is ongoing.
