5:43 a.m. Monday — Police arrested a fugitive who was stopped for driving a car with a burned out headlight.Officers learned that Devon Norris, 43, of Sharon was wanted on a warrant out of Trumball, Ohio, on a charge of obstructing official business.Police also found that Norris was driving with a suspended license. Asearch of the car, according to a police report, turned up two suspected crack pipes.Norris, who was placed in Butler County Prison, is charged with being a fugitive from justice, possession of drug paraphernalia, driving during suspension and several other traffic violations.Meanwhile, police said three passengers in the car — Richard Hunyadi, 35, of Sharon; Kayla Custer, 18, of Butler; and Joni Lapevich, 40, of Hermitage, Mercer County — were cited for possession of drug paraphernalia.

10:40 p.m. Monday — A Pittsburgh woman was arrested aboard an airplane on a warrant out of Butler County for welfare fraud.County Detective John Hertzog and two Allegheny County police officers boarded the plane that landed at Pittsburgh International Airport and nabbed 32-year-old Melissa Johnson.U.S Customs Service officials notified Hertzog after checking a manifest and finding there was a warrant for Johnson's arrest. The woman is being held in Butler County Prison on $10,000 bail.

Sunday — Three people were arrested for driving under the influence during roving patrols throughout the county.The Super Bowl Sunday detail stopped 63 vehicles and issued 24 traffic citations. Additionally, officers wrote 44 traffic warnings.

2:19 a.m. Tuesday — Fernando Camacho Aguirre, 24, of Cranberry Township was arrested for driving under the influence at Route 19 and North Boundary Road in Cranberry Township.Aguirre, in addition to DUI, is charged with careless driving, a lane violation, driving without a license and impeding the movement of traffic.11:20 p.m. Monday — Brian Lee Scott, 21, of Chicora was arrested for allegedly kicking in a door and assaulting Jennifer McClure, 24, at her North Street home in Chicora.Scott is charged with burglary, simple assault, stalking and harassment, and criminal mischief. He remains in Butler County Prison on $10,000 bail.9 p.m. Monday — A car driven by Raymond Stierer, 82, of Butler crashed into a concrete barrier on North Duffy Road in Center Township. Stierer suffered minor injuries. Police blamed the crash on conditions of extreme fog.3:10 a.m. Monday — Brad Scherer, 27, of Bruin was arrested for suspicion of DUI after his pickup truck crashed into a utility pole along Kittanning Pike in Fairview Township.8:44 a.m. Saturday — A car driven by Shayla Codispot, 18, of Saxonburg crashed into a tree and traveled over an embankment along Route 38 in Concord Township. Codispot suffered minor injuries.Jan. 30 — Donald McConnell reported that a utility trailer was stolen between Jan. 28 and 30 from his Stoughton Road home in Slippery Rock Township.12:19 a.m. Jan. 17 — Mary Gold, 34, of Karns City was arrested for suspicion of DUI on Route 138 in Clay Township.
