Johnston 60th anniversary
The Johnstons in 1952
Raymond and Edith Johnston of Renfrew will celebrate 60 years of marriage with an open house on Sept. 30.
Johnston married the former Edith Bowser on Sept. 12, 1952, at the Reformed Church in Zelienople.
They have two children, Raymond Johnston of Butler and Shelly Tula of Seattle.
They also have three grandchildren and two great-granddaughters.
Johnston is retired from Armco. He is a member of ACTS choir.
Mrs. Johnston is a retired beauty shop owner and operator. She is a member of Christian Women’s Club.
The Johnstons are members are Community Alliance Church, where Johnston served as an elder and Mrs. Johnston is a past Sunday school teacher and superintendent.
