Alene J. Kradel, 76, of Evans City Road in Connoquenessing Township, died at 11:45 p.m. Thursday at Butler Memorial Hospital.

Born in Butler County, June 21, 1928, she was she daughter of Wayne C. and Sarah Alberta Garwig Jacox.

She had been a clerk in the Butler School District Administration Building.

Mrs. Kradel was a member of the Calvary Presbyterian Church. She enjoyed reading.'

Surviving are her husband, William J. Kradel, whom she married Aug. 10, 1951; two sons and daughters-in-law, Gary L. and Kathy Kradel of Butler and James W. and Sue Kradel of Knoxville, Tioga County; and three grandchildren, Lisa, Dara and Dalton Kradel, all of Butler. Also surviving are a brother, Wayne C. Jacox Jr. of Oklahoma City, Okla., and a cousin, Dorothy Haywood of Butler.

KRADEL - Visitation and services for Alene J. Kradel, who died Thursday, Nov. 18, 2004, will be private. The Rev. Allen Moran, her church pastor, will officiate.
