Morrow

Arthur Howard Morrow, 87, of Middlesex Township, died at 4:20 p.m. Thursday at the Crestview Care Center in Chadron, Neb.

He retired in 1992 from Middlesex Township after serving as roadmaster from 1958 to 1991. He served as a Middlesex Township supervisor from 1986 to 1991 and was board chairman from 1989 to 1991.

Mr. Morrow was a lifelong member of the Middlesex Township Volunteer Fire Department and an active member of the Mars VFW Post 7505 and Cranberry Elks Post 2249.

He was an avid hunter and was an extremely knowledgeable sports enthusiast.

Surviving are his former wife, Karen V. Morrow of Valencia; a son, Thomas Clarke Morrow of Chadron; three daughters, Janette Elaine Rouse of Suwanee, Ga., Janice Elizabeth Muniz of Hot Springs Village, Ark., and Maryann Morrow of Denver, Colo.; four grandchildren, Jenifer Marshall of Sommerville, Mass., Monica Elaine Rouse of Suwanee and Emily Francis Morrow and Arthur Clarke Morrow, both of Chadron; a great-grandson, Phineas Paxton Marshall Devins of Sommerville; and a sister, Betty E. Love of Butler.

He was preceded in death by three sisters, Elsie J. Morrow, Jean L. Simpson and Vivian T. Bazy; and three brothers, Donald Morrow, Harold D. “Cappy” Morrow and Richard R. “Rich” Morrow.

MORROW — The remains of Arthur Howard Morrow, who died Thursday, May 10, 2007, will be cremated in Chadron, Neb., and his son, Thomas, will bring him home to be laid to rest with his mother, Janet Allison Morrow, at the Bakerstown Presbyterian Church Cemetery.
