John C. Sutton
John C. Sutton, 66, of Auburn Ga., formerly of Karns City, died Tuesday at his home.
Born Nov. 14, 1941, in Rochester, Pa., he was the son of the late John Everett and Grace P. Thompson Sutton.
He was a 1959 graduate of Freeport High School and was a well-known realtor in the Butler area before relocating to Auburn.
His hobbies included gardening, farming, fishing, reading and studying astrology.
He is survived by his wife, Barbara Ann Richardson Sutton, who he married March 14, 1964; two daughters, Mrs. Theresa Mauragas of Suwanee, Ga., and Mrs. Melissa Tarr of Karns City; two sons, John C. Jr. and Matthew Sutton, both of Auburn; seven grandchildren, Nychole, Bryan Scott, Amber and Joseph Ritzert, Jaqueline Mauragas, Kristine Tarr and Chasity Sutton; and a brother and his wife, Jay and Dorothy Sutton of East Palestine, Ohio.
He was preceded in death by an infant brother, Jerry Lee Sutton.
<B>SUTTON</B> — Friends of John C. Sutton, who died Tuesday, April 15, 2008, will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at <B>William F. Young Funeral Home</B>, 132 Main St., West Sunbury. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home with the Rev. David Ealy of St. John's Methodist Church officiating. Burial will be at Concord Cemetery.
