Richard and Florence Marshall

Richard and Florence Marshall of Valencia will celebrate 55 years of marriage Thursday with family and friends.

The former Florence Sgro married Marshall May 24, 1952, at St. Bernard Roman Catholic Church in Indiana, Pa.

They have six children, Frank Marshall of Boyers, Kathleen Verrengia of Dormont, Patricia Miller of Fox Chapel, Richard Marshall of Valencia, Tony Marshall of Sarver and John Marshall of Heartland, Mich.

They also have 16 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Marshall is retired from Magee Carpet, where he worked as a sales manager.

Mrs. Marshall is a homemaker.
