Gary and Carol Groves

Gary R. and Carol S. Groves of Butler recently celebrated 65 years of marriage.

Groves married the former Carol Pyle on July 6, 1957, and Chicora United Methodist Church.

They have four children, Richard Groves of Kent, Ohio; Jeffery Groves of Chicora; Rebecca Case of Raleigh, N.C.; and the Rev. Dr. Jennifer Groves of Pittsburgh.

They also have six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Groves retired as a lab technician with Witco/Sonneborn.

Mrs. Groves is a homemaker.
