Paul L. Montgomery
Paul L. "Pudge" Montgomery, 65, of Hilliards died at 4:46 p.m. Saturday at Butler Memorial Hospital following a short illness.
Born May 12, 1942, in Higgins Corners, Butler County, he was the son of the late Frank E. and Mary Viola Montgomery.
He was a member of the Hilliards United Methodist Church and the Clarion County Campers.
He had worked at Trinity Industries, and retired from USIS in Boyers. He was currently working at Sam's Club.
Mr. Montgomery enjoyed camping, hunting, fishing and NASCAR.
Surviving are his mother, of Butler; his wife, Erma Rennick Montgomery, whom he married Feb. 9, 1980; two daughters, Debbie Montgomery of Parker and Mrs. Brian (Pamela) Gordon of Parker; two sons, Paul Montgomery Jr. of West Sunbury and Donald Montgomery of Ridgeville; three stepdaughters, Linda Carlson of Butler, Mrs. Tom (Peggy) Ruedinger of Sarver, and Mrs. Curtis (Elaine) Kelly of Slippery Rock; a stepson, Kenny Rasp of North Washington; 17 grandchildren; a great-granddaughter; three sisters, Mrs. Russell (Doris) Barger of Petrolia, Mrs. Jack (Shirley) Kastelic of Butler, and Mrs. John (Linda) Raducz of Saxonburg; and several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
<B>Montgomery — </B>Friends of Paul L. "Pudge" Montgomery, who died Saturday, May 26, 2007, will be received from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. today and from 10 to 10:45 a.m. Wednesday at the <B>William f. young funeral home</B>, 132 Main St., West Sunbury. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home with the Rev. Jim Lewis of the Hilliards United Methodist Church and the Rev. Sherry Cook of the United Methodist Minister and a family friend officiating. Burial will follow in the Rosewood Cemetery.
