Seneca Valley basketball improves to 4-1

The Raiders (4-1) are off until Friday when they will open their section schedule at home against Shaler.

Seneca Valley won just three games last season.

Ryan King scored 12 points, Ben Liebling added 11 and Jordan Fee and Dan Kiel each scored 10 points apiece, but Grove City was outscored 24-13 in the final quarter in the loss.

Grove City was just 10-of-20 from the free throw line.

John Kaufman added 15 points and 13 rebounds and Ryan Jackson also scored 12 points for A-C Valley, which improved to 5-0 this season.

The Falcons led 39-20 at the half and cruised in the final two quarters to the victory.
