State Sen. <B>Bob Robbins</B>, R-50th, on Wednesday was elected chairman of the Pennsylvania Local Government Commission, a bipartisan panel that specializes in providing research and making recommendations to the General Assembly on issues affecting municipalities.Robbins has been a member of the commission since 1994 and previously served as chairman from 1995 to 2001.———
