Tuesday — Krystal Young of Butler reported a wallet was stolen from her vehicle on Center Avenue.2:20 p.m. Monday — Asport utility vehicle driven by Katlyn Gruver, 17, of Oakland Township and a car driven by Amanda Mellish, 17, of East Butler collided on East Jefferson Street near Franklin Street. Mellish's vehicle after the crash was spun around and hit a parked car owned by Richard and Joy May of Penn Township.

10:40 p.m. Sunday — Daniel Maurer, 44, of Middlesex Township was injured when he crashed his motorcycle after swerving to avoid an animal that ran onto Route 228 West near Route 8. Maurer was taken with unknown injuries to Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh. His condition was not known this morning. It was not known if he was wearing a helmet,

April 20 — A thief or thieves overnight entered several unlocked vehicles on Hannahstown Road in Jefferson Township, taking several small items from vehicles owned by James Boris and Wayne Eakin.April 30 — Nine people were arrested for driving in excess of 30 mph over the speed limit during state police traffic enforcement details in April.Among those cited were James Starr Jr., no age given, of Valencia, who was clocked going 104 mph in a posted 55 mph zone; and Jeffery Mathieson, no age given, of Grove City and Raymond Albright, no age given, of Slippery Rock, each going 100 mph in 65 mph zones.
