Minehart 100th birthday
Grace Irene Minehart of Callery celebrated her 100th birthday with an open house with family and friends at the Callery Fire Hall.
The party was enjoyed by family and friends from Pennsylvania, Ohio, North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia, California, Arizona and Florida.
She also shares her birthday with two grandchildren.
The former Grace Irene Didinger was born April 5, 1911, in Scott Ridge, Lancaster, Pa.
She married Daniel J. Minehart on Oct. 17, 1930, in Middle Lane, Lancaster, Pa. He is deceased.
She has four children, Russell Minehart of Midway Park, N.C., Kenneth Minehart of Evans City, Beverly Hutchison of Cranberry Township and Marion Magill of Evans City. Four children, Carl David Minehart, Marybelle Sample and twins at birth are deceased.
She also has 18 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Two grandchildren are deceased.
She is a member of Crestview Presbyterian Church in Callery.
