6:02 p.m. Monday - A van driven by Pamela Quiggle, 35, of Cranberry Township struck the rear of another van driven by Adam Grace, 25, of Butler on New Castle Road. The collision forced Grace's vehicle into the rear of a pickup truck driven by David Simmers, 29, of Slippery Rock.Christina Simmers, 31, of Slippery Rock, a passenger in the pickup, suffered minor injuries.

6:43 p.m. Saturday - A pickup truck driven by Basil Luchkiw, 47, of Butler traveled off Delwood Road, went over an embankment and struck several trees. Police said Luchkiw fled before police arrived. Luchkiw, who suffered minor facial injuries, was cited for reckless driving, leaving the scene of an accident and failure to notify police of an accident.

1:33 p.m. Monday - Fred Thompson, 77, of Chicora swerved his car to avoid a sport utility vehicle and struck a large rock on Route 68 in Oakland Township.Thompson and a passenger, Martha Thompson, 72, of Chicora, both who were wearing seatbelts, were taken with minor injuries to Butler Memorial Hospital. Donna Yates, 60, of Butler was driving the SUV.6:20 p.m. Sunday - A vehicle driven by Julie Martin, 34, of Sarver sheared off a utility pole at Winfield Road and Gray Avenue in Winfield Township. Martin, who was wearing a seatbelt, suffered minor injuries.12:25 a.m. Sunday - A car driven by Steven Rider Jr., 21, of Petrolia struck a utility pole on Route 268 in Fairview Township.Sunday - Several tools valued at $1,550 were taken in a burglary at a Dinnerbell Road home in Jefferson Township. The burglary occurred between 11 a.m. Saturday and 11 a.m. Sunday.9:40 p.m. Saturday - Joseph Wade, 46, of Meadville, Crawford County, was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence on Route 488 in Muddy Creek Township.7:15 p.m. Saturday - A 42-year-old Clay Township man is suspected of driving his pickup truck onto the yard at the Keister Road home of Randal and Cynthia Milkey in Slippery Rock Township and splattering mud over the house and breaking a window. Damage in the vandalism was estimated at $500.Saturday - Several tools and a chain saw were reported stolen between Aug. 1 and Saturday at a Leisure Road home in Forward Township.11:05 p.m. Friday - Darla Cicco, no age given, of Butler was arrested for driving under the influence after her car traveled off Mitchell Road in Summit Township, struck an embankment and rolled onto its side. Police said Cicco fled after the crash but was later found. In addition to DUI, Cicco is charged with a number of undisclosed traffic violations.7 p.m. Friday - A car driven by Sherry Brown, no age given, of Valencia struck a guardrail, rolled over and crashed into a small ravine along Route 356 in Summit Township. Brown, who was wearing a seatbelt, was taken with minor injuries to Butler Memorial Hospital.

3:45 a.m. Monday - Jared Harvey, 18, of Volant was arrested for driving under the influence art Old Mercer and Veterans roads in Springfield Township, Mercer County.
