Bucci

Samuel Michael Bucci, 18, of Zelienople died Wednesday following an automobile accident.

Born Sept. 17, 1991, in Johnstown, he was the son of Michael and Kathy Wittenmeyer Bucci of Zelienople.

Sam was a senior at Seneca Valley High School, where he was a pitcher on the varsity baseball team. He also was a volunteer firefighter with the Zelienople Volunteer Fire Department.

Activities that Sam enjoyed included dirt bike racing, fishing, golfing and working on his truck and '79 Mustang.

Sam was a wonderful big brother and son and was a constant source of joy and laughter for his family and many friends.

He was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church, Zelienople.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by a sister, Jennifer R. Bucci at home; his maternal grandparents, Gene and Jean Wittenmeyer of Butler; his paternal grandparents, Anthony and Cecelia Bucci of Dunbar; and aunts and uncles: Karen (Ron) Martin and their daughter, Emily, of Harmony; Dale (Ruth) Wittenmeyer of Sarver; Renee Bucci and Julie Bucci of Dunbar; Anthony (Sue) Bucci and their son, Adam, of Connellsville; and Nick (Barb) Bucci and their children, Josh, Joe, Samantha and Nicole, of Connellsville.

<B>BUCCI</B> — Friends of Samuel Michael Bucci, who died Wednesday, Jan. 27, 2010, will be received from 4 to 8 p.m. today at the <B>Boylan Funeral Home</B>, 324 E. Grandview Ave., Zelienople. Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday at St. Paul Lutheran Church, 215 N. Main St., Zelienople, with the Rev. William W. Brewer officiating. Everyone please meet at the church.
