Shirley Ann Fleeger
Shirley Ann Fleeger, 69, of Butler died at 10:56 a.m. Sunday at Butler Memorial Hospital.
She was born Oct. 7, 1938, in Butler, the daughter of the late Raymond and Gladys Young Whitmire.
She was a member of the Rider Lutheran Church.
She retired from Ames after 28 years, and she enjoyed reading, doing puzzles and playing cards.
Surviving are three daughters, Donna (Skip) Clauser, Lynda (Chris) Cumberland and Joy (Robert) Bowser, all of Butler; a son, Richard (Laura) Fleeger of West Sunbury; eight grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; her longtime companion, Richard Clauser of Butler; and a sister, Barbara Fleeger of Butler.
She was preceded in death by a grandson, Eric Clauser; and a brother, Dwayne Whitmire.
<B>FLEEGER </B>— Friends of Shirley Ann Fleeger, who died Sunday, June 15, 2008, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at the <B>Young Funeral Home</B>, 127 W. Jefferson St. Services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home with her granddaughter, Melissa Helfer, and the Rev. Dennis Hindman Sr. officiating.
