6:07 a.m. Tuesday — A car driven by Brian Anderson, 22, of Penn Township and a sport utility vehicle driven by Robert Hertweck, 45, of Fairview Township collided at Route 8 and Pepperland Boulevard.

State Police, Butler4:57 p.m. Thursday — A car driven by Braden Bier, 20, of Renfrew and a sport utility vehicle driven by Wesley Gould, 29, of Butler collided on Glennwood Way in Center Township. Police cited Bier for a lane violation.3:30 a.m. Thursday — Someone smashed a mini-van's window with a cinder block, and stole a purse in a theft at the Crestmont Drive home of Randy and Patricia Massa in also Penn Township. The suspect dented the side panel of an SUV at the home.Wednesday — An unidentified vehicle, possibly painted red, hit a utility trailer on Winfield Road in Jefferson Township and did not stop after the crash that pushed the trailer into a corn crib. Police said Thomas Sweesy of Saxonburg owns the trailer; David McRandal owns the corn crib.Wednesday — Someone between 7 and 7:30 a.m. drove an unknown vehicle onto the Rittswood Golf Course on West Cruikshank Road in Middlesex Township, and damaged a green.10:40 a.m. March 30 — Kameron Connor, 19, of Renfrew was arrested for driving under the influence of a controlled substance and possession of marijuana after being stopped for a traffic safety checkpoint on Route 19 in Lancaster Township.
