That time of year
Helen Knauer, 97, of Butler on Friday night is served by Marcia Weleski, a volunteer at the St. Fidelis Church in Meridian. The church started its annual fish fries that night. Last year, it served nearly 12,000 dinners over eight weeks. This year the dinners run through March 27.
