12:45 a.m. Saturday — Adam Lloyd Brown, 41, is accused of assaulting his girlfriend, Lisa Dennis, 40, during a domestic dispute at their West Penn Street home. Brown is charged with simple assault.12:10 a.m. Saturday — Michael Harris, 20, faces a simple assault charge after allegedly attacking Darrell Coleman, 51, with a knife during an argument at their apartment on Butler's South Side. Coleman was not seriously injured in the attack. Harris is the cousin of Coleman's live-in girlfriend.Saturday — Martin Stroup reported someone between March 17 and Friday night kicked in a back door and broke into his West North Street home and stole property valued at $1,610. Among the items taken from the home were a DVDplayer and about 25 DVDs, a portable stereo system and about 25 compact discs, a tool set and other power tools, cookware, coffee maker and a Roberto Clemente picture.

12:37 a.m. Sunday — Augustin Alvarez, 26, of Slippery Rock was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence on New Castle Road.

6:54 p.m. Monday — Michael J. Baptiste, 24, of Butler was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence of a controlled substance after his sport utility vehicle struck a utility pole along Saxonburg Boulevard in Clinton Township.Monday — A subwoofer stereo system was reported stolen from a disabled car on Keister Road in Cherry Township. The property, owned by Matthew Miller of Prospect, was stolen between March 8 and Monday.

Monday — An unknown thief between Friday and Monday stole 30 feet of electrical cable from a gas well site near Route 28 in North Buffalo Township. E&LDrilling Inc. of Kittanning owns the property.7:44 p.m. Sunday — John H. Fleming, 47, of Kittanning was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence onRoute 28 near the Buffalo Bridge in South Buffalo Township.

11:35 p.m. Saturday — Acar driven by Cindy L. Palmer, 50, of Grove City crashed into a ditch off Daughtery Road in Pine Township. Palmer was cited for driving too fast for conditions and not wearing a seat belt.
